My first race...

I've been riding for 4 months now, and finally decided to race Saturday. I rode in the 125 beginner class and had a blast! Needless to say it was more intense than riding school, and out of 7 riders I finished in 6th and 7th. Other than the starts (where I was getting killed) I was able to keep within a few bike lengths of the last 3 or 4 guys, but with only 4 laps in a race its tough to make up any time. I learned a lot from it though and this will push my new found addiction to another level! :)

Congrats - my first race was this year as well - in spite of having ridden on and off for 15 years. Racing is certainly intense - even in C or D class, and it is also certainly addictive. I just wish the dirt wasn't so hard :yikes:
