Fifty bucks? Consider yourself lucky, and consider it a lesson learned. Also, many insurance companies will give you a "free pass" on your first moving violation, and ignore it.

i have to be lucky or have a dumb insurance company cause i got in a wreck a few months ago and totalled my jeep and now i have a camry, anyways, my insurance is cheaper now. i am liking this, more money for parts!:)

i'm not sure about the free pass thing, but if the system can work this good for me, i wouldn't worry.

If its a moving volation it will make you insurance go up. I'm sure its already high enough. I would look into Defensive driving. You pay a court fee and then you take a course on saturday with a bunch of people and the ticket does not go on you record. Also you cou get it Judicated. That is were you pay the fine plus a court charge and if you don't get a ticket in that county for X amount of days usually 30 or 60 the ticket is dismissed. If you get one during that period you have to pay for both and they both go on your record. As for the amount that your insurance will go up in would image 10 or 15 a month and that will be till the ticket is off your record (I think its 3 years on Texas).

Good Luck

P.S. I got a lot of tickets on my first transportation, which was a scooter, so I know how you feel. I got harassed by a couple of local cops. I did not have the proper license so I got follow or pulled over everytime that I got seen by those two cops. I guess they were doing there jobs, but I had a class M with a 50 CC restriction and had a 150 CC. Its not much over and they could have looked the other way seeing as I needed it for school and work and it was realy cheap transpo. The restriction was not easy to notice and most cops did not, but a few did. I even took all the 150 badges off the scooter. I got a bigger bike when I got the proper license.

I think tickets are funny

I think that sometimes tickets are funny....sometimes. I think that it is funny when they stop you for going under a traffic light, even though you have already passed the line on the other side. I once even saw a cop stop someone for going about 2 m.p.h. over the limit, 67 in 65, which I inadvertently helped...:whiner:

I felt bad.
