Hi all, been lurking and asking a few questions but new to the board for the most part. I just picked up 1992 KDX 200 and I am in love!!!! This is my first bike in 15-20 years and I cant wait to get it dirty. I have only rode around the block on it so far but man.......

From what i've read it seems to be a pretty good machine. Are there many idiosyncracies (sp) that are common with the 200?

Some have reported the power valve shaft breaking on them.

My left power valve snapped in half on mine only a $33 repair. Other then that its a fun bike :D :ride: :p

yeah my left power valve broke on me, and the water pump seal went bad. but those are and easy to fix. it pays to keep you power valve clean because you dont want to spend that extra $33 when you take the top end apart. other than that its a great bike. i have no problem keeping up with my buddies on their top of the line brand new bikes.
