I just got my new well new to me bike today. Its a super clean 1998 KX 125. I am so stoked. I cant wait for the weekend to get here. I should have some pics up here as soon as I can get the digital camera out. Anyone have any suggestions for a good pipe for it. Its stock right now.:)

That's real cool. Give the bike a good run before you shop for a pipe. Are you planning to do woods or track?:think

the 98 was a GREAT year for the KX! Awesome motor.
(why do I call an engine a motor? Hummm... something from my youth I guess?)

Well that would sound good but I might have a problem with it. This is my first bike in a long while. So I posted a note over in the cr/kx/rm/yz forum. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Also a couple of us I think are planning on going to the place here in The Colony. I have never been to Shady Grove and on a new bike I want to go somewhere that I know the terrain.

Thanks to you guys on here. I am content to know that the noise that I am hearing in the bike is a normal KX thing. I have a friend that has ridden Kawis for years and he said that all of them do it. Now I look forward to getting out and tearin up some dirt.:aj:

A good friend of mine summed it up one time.
A motor makes something go
An Engine makes something go fast!
