It had been sitting outside with out a spark plug for about a year (in western (alot of rain) Washington). About 3 mounths ago we rebuilt the motor, cleaned out the carb., and got it running.

Every time i start it, it revs up pretty high and when it warms up the will go down and it will die. We've tried adjusting the idle many times to no success.

Do you know why this is happenning?

Please Help, all suggestions are appreciaded.

Thanks,
Shane

sounds like a float problem in the carb? mine does this when i start it with the choke, but then comes down in lesss than a minute. once you get it warmed up, and it's stalling, did you try pulling the choke out just a little? if it runs better, it's lean. you may have junk in the jets..............
