Does anyone know if you can put a spark arrestor insert in a Pro Circuit 304 silencer? A friend thought I could. I wanted to trade a stock silencer/ spark arrestor for the nearly new PC 304 that came on the 2000 KDX 220 I just bought and he thought I was nuts. Maybe I am, this is all new to me as the last bike I had was a stone stock XR 400 that was legal everywhere. I tried to e-mail Pro Circuit but their mail disc is full. Any advise out there? I am going to ride in Oregon shortly and have to have a spark arrestor there. I realize the PC silencer has weight savings and better free flow but is it that significant? Thanks fo any help.
