I just recently bought a kx450f 06. The bike starts perfectly fine with the choke on but once I turn the choke off it dies right away. Currently the bike does not have a air filter on it, will this cause the bike not to kick over without the choke on? Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.

Clean your pilot jet and pilot air passage.

have you checked your air adjustment screw setting and also your idle setting? may just be not set correctly for a strong enough tickover
