I pull the clutch handle all the way and the clutch still does not work... yes the cable is working... What could be wrong?? Is something broke or frozen?? Does anyone have any good information on this bike... wiring diagrams...manuals?? Thanks
Has the bike been sitting for awhile if so the clutch plates are stuck together you should take the clutch apart clean and check it out. Or you can just start it and pop it in gear with the clutch pulled in this will probably brake it loose. I would take it apart if it was mine. If the springs were loose the clutch would slip or not grab at all. Is the clutch adjusted properly.
yes it is adjusted properly... are there any online guides to taking the clutch apart?? I will try holding the clutch lever pulled all of the way... and then shifting it into gear!!
When you say the clutch won't work, which do you mean, it won't engage or release?
"Edit" I just read the post Okie closed. You will need a manual to tell you how to take the clutch apart to clean the clutch plates. Clutch plates have a habit of becoming stuck together if a bike is allowed to sit for a long time, especially if the oil was dirty when the bike was parked. Its a relatively easy job.
ok, i got the clutch working... but another question!! when i shut the bike off... it seems to blow oil out the lower hose that is below the jug.. is this normal?? what can i do to stop it... this mean there is too much oil in it??
Is the hose the oil injection or is it a gear box breather? If its a oil injection line it needs to be hooked back up. If its a breather your trans is probably too full it seems like a real good time to change your trans oil.
ok.. now i have another problem.. I was out riding it around in the rain.. then i parked it in the garage... Then about 3 hours later i got and try to start it and there is no spark... of if there is 1 it is VERY WEAK... what would this be?? (it does not have a battery)
