Need help with first bike

well im 170cm (sorry, cant b bothered working it out properly)
i would like something under $1500 US and id be using it for trail riding and im a bit of a speed freak so somethging with a top speed of 70mph-80+mph would be good,it's gonna be my first bike so i want something i wont grow out of in a year, so if its alittle too big for me then thats fine but as long as its still ridable and im, around 45-50 kg and im not sure if this helps or anything but i've been mountain biking for several years, and does weight affect anything because I would like to know

wha...? if I understand correctly what you said than i said top speed 70-80+mph note the + there is a ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 70-80 is bare minimum k?

I must ask, what do you need to go so fast for? At those speeds the slightest mistake can turn into big trouble in a hurry. But for a 5'6'', 100 lbs kid you are gonna want anything bigger than a 125 or 200. Anthing bigger will be more trouble than it's worth. (i.e. the weight of the bike, crazy power etc.)
