i got this camera with the help of my parents to start to get better at this photography thing.

Couple questions...

Has anyone here had any experiance with this camera or cameras like these?

Also regards the camera

What does the "ISO" setting do. Is it related to the exposure or what?

What is the difference between post, center and Multi Metering?

I would really like to get the best out of my camera and was wondering if you all had some tips.

Thanks alot

Your manual will be a wealth of information I suggest you get familiar with it. I'm not familiar with that model but does it allow manual settings? If not and your goal is to truly learn photography I would return it and get one that has all the usual settings as well as allowing you to set the camera up manually. Check this link for some help with the basics http://dirtrider.net/forums3/showthread.php?t=143207
