New DFW, TX rider

Merry Christmas!!!!

I am a 37 year old new rider from Corinth, TX. I used to ride daily when I was a kid (from 9 to 12) in deserts and sand; hauling very fast and riding many miles per day. However, I haven't been on a dirt bike in 25 years. I just bought my dream bike- an '08 KTM 250XCF and have been getting back into riding again. Looking for a riding partner(s) that wants to ride in the DFW area. I REALLY suck in the woods and had never had to ride between close trees like I did the other day!!!! I am not used to riding a lot in 1st and 2nd gear. Other than that I am musician that owns loads of high-end music gear (mainly guitars, amps, effects, etc...). I also can call, kill and cook ducks in short order. Me and my dog kill ducks at least 3 or 4 times a week during duck season.

Welcome Duck Commandor..........I saw your post yestrerday, but I figured some folks who lived up your way might reply. I live on the SE side of Dallas, so not really that close to ya......I plan to go ride trails in Waco this weekend, weather permitting.

You are pretty close to river valley mx......I been wanting to get over there since it opened, haven't made it yet.......this site is full of folks from the metroplex..........

I may PM you sometime about with some guitar and amp questions.............

Any time bro.... For amps I use Diezel and Bogner 95% of the time. I may use VHT and an old Marshall on occasion. Guitars... Anderson, ESP and custom stuff.
