Hello I'm Dave. I just started riding with my son, and we're loving it. I've got a YZ250F, and my son has a Suzuki RM80. Every weekend we've been going out riding and it's a great time for both of us.

I have been having problems with my bike, I keep breaking the kicker shaft. I think I'm probably kicking it wrong, haven't figured out the 'right' way yet. I guess the compression release thing needs to be used?

Anyhow...I'm going to post a question in the correct forum, just wanted to stop in here and say hello from Guam.

Dave

Welcome to the site Dave

Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself.

I would post your question in Thumper Central. I'm guessing that would be the best place. It is kinda odd that you keep breaking your shaft, but who knows. I know for a fact that there is a technique to getting the 4 strokes to start. My BRP is a real bear, if I don't do it just right.

Again, welcome to the site and shout if you have any questions!
