Hi there everyone. I am from Birmingham Alabama and a corporate pilot. I have an 8 year old son who just started ridding a few weeks ago. Today I purchased a new 2005 Yamaha PW 80 for him. I ride a 1997 Honda XR 400 and a
2004 BMW K1200GT. I am 44 and just started ridding dirt bikes again after 32 years. I have been ridding since I was 12 and have raced Mx Enduros Hare Scambles and participated in track days and WERA races in the past. I am really looking forward to teaching my son the fine art of two wheeled ridding.

Hi Ya JC,

Have a look at the SERA (Southern Enduro Riders Association) and NATRA (North Alabama Trail Riders Association) web sites. There is a ton of information there about riding and racing in and around B'ham. Heck the riding is so good I fly 4000 miles every year just to get me some!!
