My wife's uncle gave me an old Suzuki PE250 the other day- it needs some work (chain, sprocket, rear tire...), but I hope to have it up and running by the winter.

It's my first dirt bike ever- I always wanted one when I was a kid, but never got one. Hope to learn a bunch while I"m here- I'm sure the motorcycle that's as old as me (!) will eventually need a rebuild of some kind...

Welcome!

Older bikes are fun, they tend to stand up to more abuse when you're a new rider! I used to ride a 1986 XR200 and it took many a beatings, and it still runs! The ONLY issue is sometimes it's a little difficult to find parts...

Good luck with your riding and getting your bike repaired!
