Discription of myself

been riding about 5 years, mainly forest, cross country and
a bit of mx. I enjoy the cross country, enduro scene the
people are great. I'm short so i ride a cr80bw and I live in
a far off place called New Zealand, there's quite a few women that ride mx here, thanks to a female motobike salesperson. Although there's not that many that ride off the track.
Can you tell me what its like in your area.

Hiya Mandy. I take it you mean Alana Wilks? (not sure of her spelling)
I'm up in Auckland & wondered if you were the Mandy I met the other day, but she's on an XR200, so nope, different one ;)
Don't confuse the Americans by calling the CR80BW that, they know it as the Expert ;)
Great to see another Kiwi woman here.

Welcome Mandy - it's upside down here (so I've been told ;) )!

We ride mainly woods with an occasional attempt at a harescramble that incoporates the local MX track (the ONLY time you'll see me on an MX track unless my son has his way) and a desert ride now & then.

I have some pics of the trails at my house on Mica in my photo album in my sig. Also the Spring Mud Fling pics were the last hare scramble we rode - not much of the track because it was a rainy nasty day. The NW Spodefest pics are pretty typical of most of our trails around the SE Washington/NW Idaho area. The Reno Spodefest pics are of our trek to the desert of Nevada.

I prefer the singletrack woods over anything else. Something about my attraction to trees (and rocks and roots and ruts) that pulls me in that direction. Or more realistically - the lack of people out there to act as witnesses to my crashes - the MX track has too many of them!

Welcome Mandy!

I ride mostly enduro's but will occasionally attempt a harescramble (only when I really want to embaress myself ;) )

Here in Alabama, we have some really great trails. There is not alot of flat land, hills are the main thing ( and alot of rocks). It sounds bad but it is really beautiful woods.

Again, welcome, you will really enjoy it here!

Hello, and welcome. I'm from Washington, work for BBR Motorsports and ride a KTM 200. I do just about everything--I embarrass myself in the woods, on the track, and in the parking lot.

We have really tight, twisty, rooty, rocky, slimy woods around here. It's great fun.

Welcome, Mandy! Another NZealander, eh? You gals will be taking over pretty soon! ;)

I prefer the enduro/cross-country riding myself. You'll have to provide us (me) with some good summer riding stories, as it's winter up here and I've parked my bike and have the skis out!

Salutations!

Hi Mandy, I ride a ktm 200 and live in Northern California.
I mostly ride trails and some woods.
A lot of climbs and downhills(still not convinced that it's as easy as going up).
Lots of rocky conditions, but really it's the perfect place to dirt bike.
I recently rode the little 200 to it's demise in Baha.
Welcome aboard!
