Hello all, I just installed a new piston and rings in my 88 KDX 200. Whats the best break-in procedure for the engine.

Untill you have about 100 miles on it, don't let it get too hot. In other words, no prolonged full throttle, no long hill climbs, no bogging along at slow speeds. The first ride, it might be best to even shut off and let it cool down a little after the first 20 minutes.
