I just got a 2003 yz250f. I need some general info on suspension set up for off road riding and maybe some racing. I'm about 5'8" 210 lbs. I need to lower the bike an inch or two cause of my short legs. Any info would be helpful, thanks

There is a few ways to do this-the best(and most expensive) is to send out the suspension for lowering. A cheaper method is to lower the seat foam and subframe-hoever this affect the rear only.The subframe mod is done by cutting 5mm out of the subframe tubes (and rewelding) that run to the main frame-you have to be carefull as sometimes the silencer mounts wont line up.

Not much room to shave those newer Yamaha seats though :think:
