Hey everybody I am a new rider who is looking for someone to teach me the ropes and for places to ride. If anyone wants to help a U.S. soldier then please feel free to write me.
I haven't riddin my KTM yet due to it being in Indy, but my buddy told me it would be better for me to get a yanaha instead. I am new so i really don't know what to do. I am originally from Indianapolis. We took ****ty dirt bikes out with us on a missio about amonth ago and I fell in love with them so I decided to go with what i love. The only thing is that i don't know where to ride or get practice at when i get hpome. My original duty station is in Italy and I was told that there are plenty of places to ride. I plan on practicing a lot when I get home. I think I want to race and do freestyle when i get better at it. I don't really know though. What do you nguys think I should do? Let me know. Drew
Welcome to the site Drew and Thank You !!!! for your service.
Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch and tell us a bit about yourself. How long you have been riding, what kind of riding you prefer, where you are located, etc. We will do our best to hook you up with some fellow dirt bike enthusiasts.
Check out the Kentuckiana Chapter forum for opportunities to get out and meet some fellow DRNers while you are in Indy.
As far as Italy goes, I would check out the search function and see if Italy pops up.
Regarding the KTM, your buddy probably believes that you need to get a Yamaha because he as ridden the KTM and wants it himself. They are great bikes. I love my two!
Again, welcome to the site and shout if you have any questions!
