New soles/inserts for Alpinestars???

Has anyone bought new soles and inserts for their Alpinestars and how much was it to get the soles installed..just wondering if it's worth it because the boots are in excellent shape but the pegs wore holes right across the border of the sole/insert...THANKS

Never bought a new sole but the booties were about $50.00.

Myself, I've repaired just the replacable inserts with no problems that is if you haven't totally destroyed the whole sole area.

Does freemont boot repair do the whole boot or just the sole?

I am not for sure. I've just read several places that Freemont did a fantastic job on replacing the soles.

i've called alpinestars here in so.cal.and they said a new resole
is about $70-80. also, the old tech 8's sole has been upgraded to a harder compound material and does not have the old style instep with screws. it is one piece. i will drop them off tomorrow. i hope they also replace the toe shield.
