Hi this is my first day on this forum so sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I used to ride alot when i was about 13-14 but then i kind of got out of it for a couple of years.

but now im back and am really getting back into this wonderful sport but im looking for a new bike my ttr125 is just to small for me now.

Im 16 weigh about 210 and im just over 5'11" so im not exactly the smallest kid.

what i would like to know is what would be a good bike for me i would prefer a 4 stroke, i ride in kinda rocky hard dirt areas with a lot of hills and patches of soft sand and rock
so i need something with a little umph to it.

i like to go kinda fast but i also like to just cruise around some times im not really gonna race i just like to ride with my friends.

any ideas would be much appreciated. :uh:

thanks

ALL bikes are good... Reviews are pretty much useless unless you happen to be the same skill level, live in the same general area, ride the same general stuff, are the same general speed...as the tester...

You need to determine where and how you want to ride (track.woods.desert.backyard) and how fast you want to go. Then pick a color you like. Red, Green, Orange, Yellow or Blue. Pick one with a decent dealer near-by. The goal is to pick a bike that won't get you hurt, but will also grow with you.

kxf 250 and kxf 450 both are 4-stroke and green. the 250 MIGHT be better for you type of riding.
But those are MX bikes, I think he wants an off-road bike.

I have no knowledge of you being banned? What was the previous user name? I'll look into it.

"braahp" was the user name. I been a member for many years now. Sorry, I couldn't figure out how else to contact you. All I wanted to do was give someone a needle jet. Not sell....give.

I think just about everything. Horsepower, where it makes h.p., suspension, weight, and the list goes on and on and on........

Kdx

Kdx have great idles and have extra power down low, and since they are two strokes the have a quick zip too. They kinda have a mix of Mx and off-rode in them.

KX 250 2006, rocks. I am 5'10"at 205lbs without kit. I have posted on a couple other thread on this forum this week, so you can see what I have said about the KX250. I know it isn't a 4-stroke, but it is a really good bike.
