HI there

I rebuilt the top end on my 80, Whenever i start it though it runs for about 20 seconds but it keeps bogging down in that time, I cant keep the RPM's up eventually it will just die but start right up again... Im using 24:1 premix not sure if i should just lean it out to 32:1 tho?

32 to 1 would give you a richer fuel mixture.

the higher the ratio the leaner the mixture.so 24:1 is richer than 32:1.its common to look at it backwards.as in thinking the higher number ='s a richer mix , but since for the motor you are talking about an air/fuel ratio by adding more oil you are taking place of fuel which leans the air/fuel mixture that the engine would be receiving
