Hey guys new to this forum, I could use a little help. I just picked up an 01 CR250. The front forks were leaking pretty good, no problem, I have done my XR250 a dozen times.....Ok here goes the million dollar question. I took the forks apart..not as simple as my XR. nevertheless I am moving right along, put new seals and wipers on and add fork oil to outer tube(14ozs) reassemble, and do the next leg............Done every thing back together at this point and I realize that I missed a step. I never filled the compression damper section of the fork, manual shows this as a middle step, and it should be 6.3ozs or a level of 5-10 mm. Do i have to disassemble the entire fork or can I just pop the legs out and do them without breaking them totaly down. any insight will be greatly appreciated
