30+ Newbie here . Rode a bit in High School but not much. Was pretty hard core BMXr and raced competitively - I enjoy being airborn...lol. Was planning on a street bike but figured I'd go the MX route. Bought my first bike, 2000 KX250, from an aircraft mechanic and I trust that it has been well maintained.

Aside from the clutch noise issue, I have had no problems so far!(just purchased a new Hinson basket, needle bearings and bushing).

I have had fun everytime I've gone out so far but know that I have a long way to go. I need to work on the basic skills - throttle control, body position, etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
