KTM in Eurpe has introduced a small bore 4 stroke"250exc".Champion 'Giovanni Sala"is smoking some of the fastest bikes in his class on this thumper.

Fortunally Motoman, I have seen this bike, but links for photos I have none to give you.If you know Tm (enduro bikes specialists),I Know they have also introduced a 250cc 4 stroke.That thing is mean!

The first test is really disapointing...Thsi bike is not only a downsized 400, in fact one can say this is a downsized 520 !!!
Too heavy for the motor.
KTM is working on a new engine because his 250 can not compete with YAM .
I heard that for 02 even the 400 and the 520 will have a new engine.

Have the same info, after first test comparison it wasn't able to compete with WR250 and new husky 250TE but was compared to xr/klxr 250.
Seems like the '02 models will have a totally new engine something similar to the official '01 model which is instead able to compete and outrun the WR and Husky
