my 99 kdx 220 has kx resprung revalved forks,revalved shock and a DEP front pipe.the supension is great now.i'm thinking of maybe ditching the air box lid . would i need to rejet?. any ideas?

simon ur legs sound awesome.jmo but yes ,i think any time u change intake or exhaust u need to address jetting.chk the just kdx site for info on this.

YES, Ditch the airbox lid(for sure) You are robbing your bike of AIR (=power). You WILL have to rejet, but it will be worth it. As Gooby said you can find the info on that here> http://justkdx.dirtrider.net/carbtuning.html
