Nickel Silicon Carbide - http://www.mt-llc.com/millenium/FAQ.htm
NiCom® - http://www.uschrome.com/additionalservices/engniecylinderrepair/default.asp

I used NSC the first time on a kx 250 didn't really have the bike long enough to judge the wear.

I used the NiCom on a ktm 250e I have a little over 1k miles on it and everything looks good.

I believe Eric Gorr (engine builder) uses NiCom.

When you send your cylinder in for work be sure to send in the piston & rings along with the tolerance specs. Insure it when shipping.

Good luck,
Vince
