Not to Seem Ungrateful, But...

I won a $100 gift cert. from Emig Racing during DW. I've tried, believe me, I've really tried to justify using it, but there is nothing that I just have to have from them for the kTm. The only thing I can think of that I would want is a rear brake caliper guard and they fon't offer one.

So, I would like to offer the gift cert. to anyone that would like it and could use it, if that is OK. I am thinking $80. I've tried to turn it over to the locals, but no one seems to want it. (?)

If this is not cool, just delete and let me know. Just thought I'd offer it up in here to the Team Members. I would not (and will not) put it out in the "For Sale" forum.

Thanks. Lou.

Seems to be contageous. I have a gift certificate for a Boyesen Water Pump and only bikes listed are newer YZ's and KX's. So i just mailed it out for a friends 95' KX250. Atleast i can enjoy it while riding his bike. :(

Nope, it's tucked away under it's covers in the cycle room. I havent had the time to mess with it. My dad found out he has cancer and i have been helping run the family business plus working my full time job. So playtime has been slim anyways. I do go out for a quick spin on my friends when i get the urge. Plus hunting season started and there's nothing better than wasting time sitting in the woods getting cold. :)

I'm looking into having the case welded. I got a free side case that had a hole in it too, but not where i broke mine. Only ones local were already broken on the chain side, go figure. The machine shop thinks they can cut out the piece i need out of the one and weld it in to the other. Its worth a shot and wont cost a thing. If that doesnt work i'm just going to look for a parts bike and use the case for that. They want almost as much for a new case as i have seen whole bikes for. I figure the way i break things, i better get a spare bike just incase.

Thanks Guys! We will be fine, he's to have surgery to remove it within the next 2 weeks. He didnt even have any symptoms but went in for his normal checkup and the PCA (something like that) test showed an elevated level. Had more test and samples taking confirming it. So early detection paid off and now it can be removed before it gets a chance to spread too far. So we will be fine and take it in strides. Thanks again!

Tree jumper,
Sorry to hear about your dad. My dad was diagnosed with prostrate cancer and he opted for a hormonal treatment instead of surgery. He’s been on it for the past 4 months and his PSA has gone down. You’re right on about the early detection, make sure that you get tested too since it can be hereditary.

Thanks DHoward!

RM_guy,

Yeah they say i have a 75% chance of inhereting it. I thanked my dad for such a wonderful gift! :think His doctor recommended the surgery because of him being younger (53) than most. He's having it done at Shady Side Hospital in Pittsburgh and dad keeps saying that if the hospital is good enough for Mario Lemiuex, than its good enough for a tin pounder from the sticks! :)
