I need to buy a new chain and sprockets this week. I'll be getting steel sprockets and would like to try a O-ring chain.

What can I expect from the O-ring chain and what about maintenance? Is it the same clean and lube process? How about some recommendations on a mid priced chain. Can I get a decent O-ring chain for $60-$80?

Thanks
Jeff

No, you can get an excellent O-ring chain for $51 from Rocky Mountain. I have had excellent results from the RK 520 X-Ring. Put it on and haven't had to adjust it AT ALL! I just clean it with Charlies Soap, (It's like Simple green) and lube it with Chain wax, or whatever. GREAT CHAIN :D

Can you help me out one more time.

I am trying to track this chain down. Can you tell me what the outside of the box says? I have seen them as 520XSO, 520SHO and 520RO.

Of course Rocky Mountain is out of the 520 x 120 so I hate to say it but I will head out to Chapparal after work. I just want to make sure I get the right one.

Thanks
