Nice shots! Which 300mm lens did you get/use?

it is Nikon's current f4 model. not as expensive compared to the "fast" lenses. from the results I got, the f4 setting - and even a little slower, has a shallow enough DOF as well.

plus now I can take better pictures of oh, say..Ducks... sheesh. ;)

Great shots I really like the 2nd one with the 2 side by side. The first I wish the background was just a bit more out of focus as it tends to draw my eye into it. That minor idea aside again I say great shots

Oldguy...me too on the RV in the background.
Plus those white PVC "poles" are everywhere on the track, I think they sometimes put flags in them.

If I ever had an opportunity to do "personal mx shots" for a racer, this would be a good place. Some spots offer great background and foreground.

thinking about dragging a ladder or two out there and setting them up for some different angles.
