Yes, Here's another story on the KX-conversion. Would Like to thank Every One Who has Put Infor on this Web site for People to use. Here is my lowdown on my project, I notice that some said you needed a 3/8 spacers for the top clamp and others said the clamp would hit the gas tank. Mined did and that the fork tubes needed to be up a 1 inch in the clamp also, That started me to rethink this situation, So I made a Spacers 1 - 3/8 inches to raise the top clamp to give the clearance needed, Now the fork tubes are flush with the clamp, It also raises the bars Now to the right hight . Now to the Wheel, the axle, axle nut, spacers, dust cover, bearings, all came to another 135.00 . Well I couldn't handle the extra cost between that and racing to. So the old brain had to go into overdrive, looked at the axle and maid a axle nut, bushings, sleeved , washers, line wheel up looks real good. For the Brake line and the odo cable I used a 5/16 Electrical fastener it has a rubber insert bolted to the fork sliders. ------------------------------------------------------I Wished I Knew this 10 years ago.
