I haven't searched on the subject, but I am sure it's been talked about. The lack of off road bike racing. I would rather watch MX and SX over the superbowl. Well, I hate football, so that's an easy one for me to say.
Anyway, it seems that ESPN2 is the only network to cover any AMA MX and SX.
ESPN2 considers MX and SX bottom of the barrel sports since they let just about everything have higher priority over them.
It is nice that their showing SX the next day, but still, how about some pre 2000 old races? How about a marathon of MX and SX? On my dish network channel guide, there's like another ESPN2 channel that is never showing anything.
The times listed in the AMA magazine are never right either. I would have to think it's because ESPN2 is pushing the schedule around due to bowling, tennis, or college gymnastics(all of which I hate, but respect).
I guess my question is this:
What do you guys do to see more of these awesome sports on TV? I would pay for pay per view. I like watching these sports more than anything (well, about even with MMA).
How about DVD's? Any recommendations on good DVD's to buy? I would kill for a 4-disc set of any one season.
