i have been looking at my dr250 and i have realised there is no dipstick to check the oil or even anywhere to put one so where do you put the oil and how do you know the right amount, the only thing i can think of is there is two pipes that cum out the engine and they split into about 4 and all go into different bits of the engine and i have followed the tubes and they have brought my too a box under the seat with that has a breather pipe ontop and it has nothing in, i think this might be where it goes but i aint sure, does anyone know how much engine oil exactly i need in a dr250

The oil volume should be cast in the cases near the oil filler. It will either say "xxx" mL or CC. The displacement of the cylinder is cast in the cyliner and will be something like "247.5 cc3" so you know that's NOT what you are looking for.
