oil level for stiffer rate

I have a 91 YZ 250. The stock springs are for a 130 lb rider and I weigh 180 lbs. Would increasing the oil level help compensate for soft springs ? Thanks.

It will help bottoming buy will also upset the mid-stroke action if you go too high.

I am curious how decide on a starting point for the oil level when going to a stiffer rate spring? I would think that you would go to a lower height, but in my kx manual, they show a higher height, with stiffer rate spring. I'm going from .43's to .46's in my 01 KX250 and am alittle unsure where to start with the oil height. Thanks Tim
