hello all,
I've got a line on a motor for my Can-Am motorcycle. The model is ASE, which is a normal pre-mix your gas bike. The motor I've found is from a TNT, which is the same motor only it uses an oil injector to run the mix into the engine. The question I have is this, the TNT bikes have an oil resevoir in the backbone of the frame to stow the mix until it's needed. On my ASE frame there is no such item. I was thinking of getting an auxilary fuel tank that straps to the forks and using it as a resevoir. Problem is since Acerbis redesigned their site I no longer see these items listed. Does anyone know of a company that makes these? Or does anyone have a better idea on how I should solve this oil injection problem? Removing the pump and pre-mixing is not an option since the engine lubes the ignition side crank bearing from the 2T oil. Thanks for any suggestions.
