If you mix half and half 10w30 and 75w90 (auto gear lube), do you get 42.5w60 ??? (The average viscosities of the two) I like 20w50 but wanted to try a little heavier. There's no such thing as ??w 60, so I thought maybe I could mix to get to 60. I don't really care about the first number (winter) anyway. I only ride in the summer. I fear the straight 75w90 would make the clutch slip as it is very thick.
