[TN KDX man]

I bought a 03 KDX 220 and have ridden twice and this week I bought 98 KX 250 to possibly race, so my question is which oil to run in gear box. I assume both bikes will use the same oil. Thanks

your going to get a lot of different opinions on this one. I use Castrol 10W40 in both my KDX and 03 KX250. ATF is also a good choice. Belray gear saver is a moto-specific oil that should work for you also. some here use Shell Rotella 15W40 or synth 5W40 and they meet JASO MA standards although not marked so on the bottle.
