Does anyone know of a product that makes old and bent "white scars" plastic look good again?

I heard there is a product out which works.

Thanks in advance for any help!:silly:

It's called Plastic Renew, comes with Assorted w/d sandpaper, steelwool & a solution. I have used it, it works good, but it takes effort on your part.

I've had good luck removing the white spots on bent plastic fenders with a propane torch. Just a bit of heat and the color comes right back. At least that has been my experience. Instead of spending money on plastic renew. Just get the new plastic. Better results with no labor on your part.

Papa, I had a person on the job use a lighter (cig.) to look down in a gas tank once:confused:
Lucky the tank was full, to the top so just flames, no explosion.
Until then I thought everyone knew better, wrong!

Just to be on the safe side, a heat gun (or even a good hair dryer) will also work on the "white scars."

Ditto what XRP said. TTRGuy has made the plastic on his bike and mine look like new again with his heat gun. A few swipes with the gun and those white stress marks come right out. You can even use it over stickers. Has not affected ours. It's like magic! ;)
