I bought this old bike to fix up. Totally rebuilt from bottom up It needed a new piston rod, that was the only reason for splitting the case. It needed many other things as well. Anyway I got it all back together and started to break in the new engine. Ran awesome needed to be tuned. Only put about 1-2 miles on the new engine and lost the last 3 gears. I know the drum shifter is in the right place. I am pretty sure its the internal shifting mechanism inside the case. I am hoping it's just one of the shift forks.
