I purchased an AC Racing bike stand from onoffroad.com about 3 weeks ago. When I got the stand, it was missing the bolt and washers that connect the small, S-shaped lever - the one that lets the stand collapse back down. The small lever, teflon washer and nut were loose in the box - but the bolt and metal washers were not. There weren't any holes in the box so I knew that they must have packed it that way. Pretty lame.
So I called them right away and told them that the bolt and washers were not there. I was very nice. They were nice, too, saying that they would get the parts out to me right away.
Well - 3 weeks later and no parts. I guess they just tell you what you want to hear and then run to the bank to deposit your money. They won't get anymore of my business!
Sure, I can go to the hardware store and get the parts. The point is - I shouldn't have to. The worst service I ever received - and I order LOTS of stuff. :|
