Exactly when did this seem like a great idea? :eek: That's the one bad thing about safety gear-it screws up that "natural selection" stuff.

I know he probably freaked and bailed at the end, but I wonder if his injuries would have been less severe had he stayed with the bike. At least it would have absorbed and distributed some of the impact.
