T troy250 Member Oct 22, 2006 5 0 Oct 23, 2006 #1 Checking fork oil level on my new-to-me 2002 KX250 and didn't unscrew the rebound damper screw before I unscrewed the top cap from the fork tube. Saw the step in the manual after I had the fork dissassembled. Did I hurt anything? Thanks huge, Tom

A Anssi Member May 20, 2001 870 0 Oct 23, 2006 #2 I think it is extremely unlikely that you hurt anything. Just click it to full open before you screw the cap back on the rod.
