I'm going to be spending a few days with family in Newport Beach this holiday season. Last time I went there, I rode at Saddleback, but that's closed now. Are there any other places to ride that are reasonably close (within an hour or so) to Newport Beach?

I'd be interested in trails or a track (where a slow guy like me would be OK).

FYI... The Elsinore mx track is 55 min. from Newport Bch & there's 3 different track's to ride (Vet track, Race track, and Main track)

just check out the subforum when you want to come out and ride, there is usually soemthing on the weeksneds. i usually go to the track on a saturday, but elsinore is way over crowded on a weekend its unreal!
