Oversized Fender Pack

Anyone use one of these? I was thinking about getting one and trying it out, but at $40+ per pack for the moose, I thought I'd get some opinions first. It looks like they might have a really tall profile and could be a bear to kick a leg over...

I have a small camera bag mounted on my KDX fender, sure it looks a little tacky, but it holds tools and my GPS.
