What do people out there think to having the engine casings powder coated ? I have taken the engine out of my bike because I am trying to restore it to look newer & not as tatty. I have been wire brushing my engine casing to try n bring it up so it looks nice. The only problem is oxidisation the casing truns black after 10 mins. What should I do to seal the casings & stop this from happening, is polish enough ? Or should I just powder coat or paint.............. any ideas welcome thanks
