passing m.o.t in uk help

can anyone here in the uk tell me what is needed to pass m.o.t?example,horn,high beam for night riding and solvin the problem of headlight going real dim when brake light is acctivated while lights are on.brake light works fine when lights are off,but when they are on as in night riding head lamp goes real dim and rear light does not go bright.i have a 2004 220 that has its 1st m.o.t in august so i have plenty of time to get it ready.as i sometimes need this bike for work i need to be road legal. thanks.

Try Trailbikemag.com(TBM) If you click on forums and click on tech talk.Their has been many posts on mots and whats requirred just put in a search.I have a import 200 and they have higher output lighting coils so if you need more output give Corbys as they stock all the import parts. :cool:
