In an attempt to "even" the playing field with 3-year-olds riding Buddy Class on clapped-out, 20 year old 125cc street bikes, Badgerman and RedGreen comply not only with the dead-engine start, but also introduced the no-handed start.

... Protests were later filed by a group of electric start 4-stroke owners who forgot how to use the kickstarter.

Lenny however, also on row 4 but riding orange for Team PTP, is out for blood with the Crypt-keeper skull helmet. His race strategy was to scare all 3-year-olds into a bunch of crying DNFs. While I can't say that I wholeheartedly endorse his technique, he did walk away with a pretty big-ass trophy.

Lenny Gloats:

Lenny also credited his win in no small part to the great advice he received from his friend, mentor, and head wrench:

"Placing my goggles over the helmet mouthpiece like Napper suggested really helped with the pre-race jitters and hyper-ventilating I was experiencing. Once the hammer dropped, it was so blurry that I had no choice but to maintain a steady 12 MPH pace. Trees really hurt."

Well, the Badger Family secret is out. Here we see Badgerman and RedGreen practicing their own version of the Vulcan Mind Probe before the race. Unbeknownst to the Hunt family duo, Badgerman is reviewing the basics with his son, "Pull IN on the clutch, click UP on the shifter, easy on the gas...."

Simon Says "Set your Key Time..."

Simon Says "Review your Route Sheet..."

Simon Says "Tape your Score Card..."

Simon Says "Maintain a 12 MPH average..."

"Touch your helmet"

There it is, captured on film for the masses!

I was simply trying to prove, once and for all, that YZF's are not hard to start!

 Look at the tires on that old Yamaha! I don't know HOW they would have been able to make it through all that sand! :scream: What were they thinking? :uh:
