Pipe "dings" and "dents"

My PC works pipe has several dings and dents. Nothing major, just little dings. Does the effect this overall performance and functionality of the pipe?

Wrap with the thickest duct tape you can find,about 15 cross and 10 holding them. Fill the pipe with water and seal the other end,no air inside,place in the freezer for 8 hours. All them dents and dings mean bye bye performance.

That freezer tip is a beauty. Just make sure you dont freeze it too long and burst the thing. Another way of doing it is to heat the dent right up with an oxy, seal one of the pipe and introduce compressed air at the other. Takes a bit more work but works admirably.
