I have a 2001 GG EC 200 with a stock pipe but I see the XC has a FMF pipe , has anyone tried the two back to back to see which is better ?

The FMF is a close copy of the stock pipe(messico). I have a Motowest pipe on my '98 EC250. It really works well and is better tucked in than stock.

gasgasman,

You got an SE? Congrats, thats a beautiful machine. I saw one my dealer got in last week after a long wait. Let us know how you like the Ohlins forks. I was at WER last year when Drew had a pair on his EC250 for developing the valving. Good Luck.

messico vs. fmf

Messico better for more open raceing Harescramble , motorcross, xc!

Fmf better for enduro , the person that likes the power more spread out!

Generally a fatter bottom end!!

We tend to use messico for moto-x and the fmf for everything else!

Fmf will have new 125 pipe out shortly!!!
