I was about to post that I was going to VMC for the ROTMX night race (tonight), but the weather page still shows Victorville at 105 F (4PM), which means practice (5PM) and the first moto will be freakin' hot. I'll pass on this race, even though I went there last Sat. to practice, and thought it was a fun track.
Instead, I'll go to Starwest tomorrow, either first thing in the morning or just before the sun goes down (gonna be a scorcher). Reports have the new Starwest as being mellow (yep, the Old Timers will be there in a couple of weeks).
So what does this have to do with Piru? If Piru were (a lot) closer, I'd change my plans and bang bars with Eel. :)
