Piston and Rings: Cost

I own a 1995 KDX 200 and I was just wondering how much a new set of piston and rings would cost, and also what spark plug would you guys would recommend to use on a KDX.

i just did the top end on my 98 KDX200, the piston and ring set from wisco (standard piston not oversize) was about $190Aus, plus a small end bearing. Plus gasket kit. All up including a new sleeve, powervalve clean and realignment and port adjustment it cost me $650aus. But that was removing and reassembling the head myself. Spark plug BR8ES is what I use here in W.A. You might be able to get things a little cheaper if you life in the eastern states I pay a load on freight in WA. Good luck

I just paid $80 for a wiseco piston and ring kit, then $20 for a gasket kit.

too bad you dont live in the states, I got a gasket kit and piston kit for sale for 80 bucks new in packages. I bought them last year, and now Im getting a big bore kit from Eric Gorr so I have no need for them
